Compassionate Conservatives (and craven Liberal Democrats)

It is estimated that around 500,000 disabled people will lose disability benefits as part of the government review. The following was left on here by Joe, as a comment on a previous post:

The government know that the disabled are unfit to work and most have been told to avoid stress at all costs. So the Government creates stress to kill off the weakest, we do it with deer its called culling and comes under ethnic cleansing under “The Treaty Of Rome” of which the UK is party to.

Myself I had an industrial accident where a roof collapsed I was working on and left my back totally damaged and nerve damage in back and legs. I got type 1 diabetes and have diabetic nephropathy, I have to take morphine based pain killers and constantly in a daze to dull the pain.

My doctor sent a letter to Atos saying I needed a home visit as I was unable to attend a medical as it was beyond me, Atos sent my file back to the DSS. With the pressure of all this I developed high blood pressure and now on medicine for that. I have Vitamy D defiency and am blind in the right eye and have diabetic retinopathy. I was placed in the work group, so my doctor said I was not fit enough to attend a medical but I was forced to attend the job centre or get my benefit stopped. My medical notes state that I am high risk for a heart attack or stroke due to my diabetes and unable to excercise because of my back and nerve damage.

Now here is the kicker’ because of my strong medicine it reacts with my insulin, every day at 12.00 after I eat and take insulin my energy totally drains from me and I fall asleep instantly and this was on 3 of my medical notes, The DSS gave me an appointment for 12.00 and my benefit would stop if i did not attend.

For me to attend I had to miss the meal so i did not take insulin and I would not fall asleep, I took double the morphine to handle the pain, when I got to the job centre my feet were in so much pain I had to take my shoes off and go around bare footed ( I have never wore socks or shoes for 3 years as sock cause me so much pain). Once they saw the state of me they could not wait to get rid of me in case I dropped dead right there. I got put in the support group now till June 2013 where I will need to go through it again.

What I want to know is’ If my doctor knows I'm not fit and a danger to myself and others, and I know I am a danger to myself and others, what would happen if I was forced to work and someone got injured. Will I be immune from prosecution? Would the Government be held liable as they were responsible for it? We are been ethnically cleansed just like the Nazis did and they can dress it up all they want, I know they are trying to kill the likes of me off.

I forgot to add its 4.35 am. The pain was so bad tonight that I awoke screaming and my wife gave me a cup of tea strong painkiller and rubbed Volterol Emuegel into my back and legs, Im getting relaxed now and the pain is settling so hope to drop off about 5am, so imagine if I was forced to work I would not make tomorrow, and its like this all winter so I wont get any relieve till spring thats if I dont have a stroke or heart attack as the experts seem to think I will have.

He might be sick but he’s still sounds like a prat, and even worse, a socialist prat. All that nonsense about ‘culling’, ‘ethnic cleansing’ and, natch, ‘Nazis’ is all out of the ‘Do-It-Yourself Agit-prop’ book. Not a word, I notice, about the skiving buggers, a minority of whom occasionally appear in court, who cheat the system and rip it off for all they can get out of it, which is part of the reason why the government, any government, has to crack down on it. The previously cosy relationship between GPs and their patients was a con waiting to happen.

And when are you going to make this site user-friendly, Councillor. The fact that you get so few comments may not be entirely due to the fact that you can only manage one post a week. What a Stackhanovite you are – not!

I almost wrote at the end of the post, Cue the entry of David Duff, stage (extreme) right, slobbering on about work shy skivers. How incredibly predictable.

As for user-friendly I haven’t had a single complaint, nor even hint of a complaint, from anyone else, which makes me think any problem is more likely to be a consequence of our own stupidity.

Talking of idiots, I opened the spam box and there, amongst the details of my good fortune on the Nigerian lottery and kind offers of Viagra from good folk I have never met, I found dozens of comments from the idiot Elsby, the back-end of a pantomime horse if ever there was one. But as his previous contributions added neither information nor intelligence I decided to leave them there and pray any others go the same way. See, the technology ain’t all bad!

You don’t receive any complaints because your readers can’t be arsed to try and leave a message. The ‘Email’ and ‘Name’ boxes don’t remember your details so you have to retype it every time, and the ‘Website’ box does not allow you copy and paste it it which means it has to be typed every single time. The fact that you don’t give a stuff for the people who try to use your service is, of course, typical of every socialist institution ever invented – from the NHS up – or down – whichever you prefer.

Oh, and by the way, are you implying that there are no scroungers or that they are a tiny miniscule minority?

    • bobpiper says:

Don’t be. So bloody idle. You are typical of every right-wing bigot I’ve ever met, too idle-arsed to even type your name and e-mail address, unbelievable!

And I haven’t ‘implied’ anything of the sort. I have no doubt there are some people who abuse the system, the same way the wealthy dodge their taxes, but like you I have no idea how many. Nor would I categorise benefit claimants as scroungers, my instinct is that the overwhelming majority are not.
