Despite all of the media horror stories about the strike action tomorrow (often from the same people who cheered the beanfeast held to celebrate the wedding of a couple of rich kids earlier in the year)… it turns out that nearly two in three people actually support the public sector strike action tomorrow.
As so often the Labour leadership look like a bunch of rabbits caught in the headlights, terrified of their own shadows, and worried about upsetting the minority opposed to the strike. Well, no-one can accuse them of courting popularity, eh? The reality is that people finally think that someone is standing up to this wretched government, and are supporting the trade unions in doing it. For the second time this year the Labour leadership has succeeded in making the party look irrelevant to the lives of so many people under attack by this right-wing coalition.

I love it when the so-called ‘working’ class damage each other with malice aforethought!
Yes, strange then that Gideon Oliver Osborne, heir to the Osborne baronetcy of Ballentaylor, in County Tipperary, and Ballylemon, in County Waterford should get so exercised about it…
Yes, indeed, so exercised that he’s promised to sack another 300,000 of them! Talk about turkeys voting for Christmas: Right, comrades, form a line now . . .
Talk about thick!
What… and he wasn’t going to do that if they didn’t strike? Talk about thick… is there a village near you that’s lost its idiot?
Well, yawn, that brought the country to a shuddering non-halt. The words ‘organise’, ‘piss-up’ and ‘brewery’ come to mind. And starting tomorrow, I hope, the first of the 7,100 redundency notices goes forth – just in time for Christmas. Thus, will the devious doings of Brown & Balls, the brokers men, who deliberately set in motion a huge recruitment of un-needed public service people in order to front-load the Labour vote, be undone!
Don’t mistake the dawdling gentry of the West Country as if it were the nation. The strike was a magnificent success. I do get sick of these whinging buggers in the private sector who do nothing to fight for a decent pension (whilst squawking that no-one looks after them) and then retire on a state pension whilst claiming housing benefits, supplementary benefits council tax rebate… who the bloody hell do they think pays for that! People with a small public sector occupational scheme who can claim sod all… that’s who!
Duffy, are you familiar with the work of Hugh Trevor-Roper? You’re a boring twat, just like him.
“the Labour leadership look like a bunch of rabbits caught in the headlights” – I say old chap, that’s being a bit harsh isn’t it? (to rabbits that is)
Labour would never do anything underhand to win an election.
Pol Pot would, but Labour? Nein.
You just get sillier every day. I am actually beginning to feel sorry for you.
Ed Miliband supports the strikers and agrees with their cause.
As if.
