A worthwhile e-petition

Now this is an e-petition I could support with great enthusiasm.

Mark Thomas issued postcards petitioning the Queen to not allow it- the idea being you signed it and posted.

So predictable this offensive comment by Red Piper.
Red Piper will not be remembered as he has done nothing in his long career other than whine, moan about people more successful than himself and promote left wing failure.
The iron lady by contrast will be seen historically as UK’s greatest peace time PM. She rolled back the tide of Socialism and assisted in the collapse of evil communism.
Let us hope that Red Piper predeceases her and then he will not have to worry about her state funeral which will inevitably occur as day follows night.

Hi Bob; Hopefully somebody will get that e-petition up and running so we can get our monikers on it. Bomoh wants to talk to some of the ex miners I know, and I think that they are a fairly representative of most miners, and it might not surprise him/her to know that as well as signing a petition opposing a state funeral, they would willingly build a funeral pyre for her and see to her in the time honoured Hindu ritual and think that it was far too good for her even if she is ga-ga. On a different note Bob; unless I have missed anything(and things have been a bit upside down this last couple of weeks, my father-in-law passed away aged 91 yrs just over a week ago R.I.P.) I thought that you would have made some comment on Starkey’s outburst on Newsnight the other week about the riots. No surprise about what he said, and he kind of back tracked imho about the racial context of his part in the discussion, but how he expects people to believe he wasn’t bringing race into the discussion when he said David Lammy sounded white stretches credulity to the limit. Could be wrong but have you ever come across a more jumped up ,odious, obnoxious figure in public life than Starky, the law of averages says there must be something out there worse than him, but you’d be hard pressed to get a piece of blotting paper between them. He makes Tebbit or Thatcher seem human. What sort of students has he been lecturing to, the ones that I have come across in my time would have lynched him. We must be in the Silly Season, Birminghams 2nd team getting a result like that against Blackburn.

I didn’t comment Gerald because Starkey is a attention seeker who says deliberately outrageous things in order to bring attention to himself, which I wasn’t prepared to do.
