Maths is not his strong point

My old sparring partner, Mike Bird, the short-arsed vertically challenged Leader of Walsall Council has been reacting to criticism in the local media about his councillor’s allowance.
In one newspaper story, Mike tells us he is “worth twice as much” as the £29,000 he receives. He also claims that he works so many hours on council business that his pay amounts to £1.64 an hour.
Now on a wage of £29,000 that means he is working 345 hours per week.. I don’t know about you but the last time I looked there were only 168 hours in a week!
Let’s hope Mike isn’t dealing with the Tory controlled Council’s massive budget problems!
