Should O.C.D be Compulsive Obsessive Disorder? As in “a load of”?
What are your thoughts on a non political(party) figure presiding over local council meetings?
This post might just come back to haunt you in a year or so…
Agree with the sentiments of course.
Having spent the last decade dedicating his life to getting rid of Speaker Martin it must be upsetting for him to have to start all over again with Speaker Bercow.
I saw Mr Letts speak once at our town hall. A living cliché – a genuine embittered old hack…
Brian… sadly, that description fits too many of us.
Tim… I’ll risk it.
Margaret, it happened for a few years. We elected a ‘Chairman of the Council’ to Chair council meetings, but it wasn’t much different to the Mayorality. The Mayor, in theory, is supposed to deal with the meeting in a neutral way.
Hmmn! But he ‘sussed out’ that Jock thickoe a lot quicker than most ‘observers of the political scene’ including, dare I mention it, our genial but not very perceptive host. (Well, it’s not really his fault, he will let his prejudices obstruct his views!)
I have thought of going over and campaigning against him myself in his constituency. It could hardly be worse could it , a corrupt lying crawler who sold his supporters out and was elected on the basis he was the person who would most infuriate Conservatives. I need hardly say that this act of contitutional vandalism on behalf of the departing Labour Party is about as welcome as you last guest throwing up on your carpet on the way out.
New Labour knew this was not on .They know thems not the rules. You get a go, and by god you had one , then we get a turn. If this is too much to understand Bob then I pity your sexual partner/s ( eeeoo).
He will not survive , the post needs a respected figure and he is a despised as a spinless cretin and rightly so.
I shall always regret Frank Field was not given the chance but anyone would have been better than that fucking gnome
Well said Bob. Serious OCD there.
It shows what a freak that Letts is. And how detached from reality too.
As if people in the real world, including Mail readers, were still talking about the election of Bercow as Speaker. Who gives an absolute toss??? They done it now. End of it.
May remind you all Letts is the person who had the gall to write this ‘piece‘ about “lack of knockout babes” in the Commons. Him, right? Him! Look at his face!!! Ridiculous he is.
