23 offences to be taken into consideration….

Leominster MP Bill Wiggin says he’s staying put after admitting an £11,000 expenses error, seeing off calls for his re-selection at a lively public meeting this afternoon…. after claiming that he had made an error on his expenses claim form for his London home which was mistakenly attributed to his Herefordshire home… repeated 23 times!
If at first you don’t succeed….
Apparently, I’m told, Wiggin….
1. Fixed the public meeting for 4pm on a Wednesday
2. Choose a small venue
3. Tried to pack it with Tory activists
4. Had the meeting controlled by the local Tory chair

Pity he couldn’t fix an internal committee of 3 nobodies to adjudicate his case, wasn’t it?

  2. RobertD says:

What? Has he copied something from watching Labour Government and party “consultation” processes. Shame on him!

  3. Bob says:

I’m with you there, Robert. Shame on him indeed.

  4. Danivon says:

Ann Black is one of those on the panel, and while she’s not well known outside the party or in media circles, she’s got a very good reputation for being transparent and representing the views of ordinary members.
I can’t see her sweeping anything under the carpet.

Nice to find a nest of Old Labourites!
I’m independent, but you guys might enjoy this (I am very intent on it bringing Bill Wiggin’s parliamentary career to an abrupt halt)

Bill Wiggin held a meeting ‘open to all’ on 27th May to explain his expenses actions to ‘all his constituents’.
The meeting was fixed to ensure a Conservative party activist majority and an easy ride., the evidence is now here on Youtube:

Before knowing this footage was out there, Wiggin has threatened those in his constituency who protested about the meeting being fixed with legal action.
He is a liar, a bully, and is unfit be a Conservative party whip
