Anybody seen David Davis (for freedom)?

I know you are all busy with the budget and all things money, but….
Has anyone seen anything from David Davis (for freedom) over the police behaviour in assaulting people on the G20 demonstration? Or on the death of Ian Tomlinson.
I’ve looked at his website, David Davis for Freedom and our fighter for freedom doesn’t seem to mention the liberty to walk casually down the road, with your hands in your pocket, without being assaulted by the police just minutes before your tragic death.
Only… he did get terribly excited in the media over the police intrusion on one of his colleagues, which hardly compares to being whacked brutally in the street. Just wondering.

  1. “Oh yeah, they’re gonna talk to you, and talk to you, and talk to you about individual freedom. But they see a free individual, it’s gonna scare ‘em.”

  2. Police have fished out a floater beneath the Humber Bridge. Would it be too much of a leap of faith to hope it is identified as DD? There was a sign on his office door proclaiming that he had gone fishing.

  3. Ian McNee says:

I hate to say it Bob but DD was on Today on R4 earlier in the week – listen here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_8007000/8007668.stm – where he made more progressive comments about policing than anything I’ve heard from the Labour Party.
Just as with the extension of detention without trial the outrage is how easy it is for Labour to be out-lefted by a bloody Tory, and the same one on both occasions!
