God… nation… and Barca.

Yassine Belassal, a Moroccan school pupil has been jailed for 12 months for replacing the Moroccan national motto, God, Nation, King with God, Nation and Barca on his school wall as a tribute to his favourite football team. I’ve written before about how the current King of Morocco is supposed to be a reforming King in comparison to his repressive father, but this is just another example of how daft some of these people are about their monarchy.
