    I think the name of the front company for the loan is interesting as well, though the Observer writers make nothing of it. Surely within Ironmade Ltd there’s non-too-elliptic reference to Thatcher, and by extension the extent to which the Conservative party 2005 version is still intrinsically tied to her ‘legacy’.
    Or am I making too much of it? Maybe her Ladyship just likes ironing. Or heavy metal. Or Germanic instruments of torture.
