I live is a shit hole in Wales, in which people live in sheds and I mean sheds, my council tax for a Band D is 1,196 pounds, to increase this year by the max allowed and a little bit more if they can.
we have a house in need of urgent repair, sadly the council are unable to help due to funding cuts, but it helped the local Rugby team, with a long term loan of 5 million, plus a new 75 million stadium.
got to get your priorities right.
I don’t want to let the facts get in the way Robert, but the 80 million quid you talk about couldn’t be used by your council for housing repairs. Thatcher closed the loop on that one I’m afraid, and to this government’s disgrace they have not reversed the legislation. But don’t blame the council for that one.
I only ever read that irresponsible rag whenever I visit my local Chinese Takeaway, it’s always on their counter.
The first page I turn to is the letters page. Always full of anti Europe and borderline racist hyperbole. The letters seem to have been plagiarised straight from lying BNP literature.
Apparently immigrants only come here to leech on us good British Taxpayers and drain our NHS of it’s resources.
Nope, not one person in the entire Black Country has ever responded to one of these hysterical rants with a letter to the editor.
The editor never gets one letter that mentions simple facts like 35% of Nurses and a similar figure for Doctors were trained overseas. Or that our immigration population of 9% pays over 10% of the nations tax burden. Bloody immigrant leeches!
Or maybe, the editor has received a good few of these letters, they just never make print for some reason.

I’m not bothered who comes here, sadly unless you make a home for them they will live in shanty towns.
Google Llanelli Shanty town and see how immgrants are living in my area, bet you a pound it will look like Dafur or any camp in Africa.
Robert,
I took your advice and googled: -

One hut doesn’t make a town >;o)
And it appears that this is nothing more than divisive rumour.
