I’m told that no soon as Brown had sat down at PMQs today up popped Boris Johnson raising a point of order and protesting that the Prime Minister had misrepresented his position by saying in reply to a question that Boris had said that he wants to cut the budget of the Metropolitan Police. Well, over at LabourHome, they have the Johnson quote from a hustings last September:
“We have got to be absolutely clear where the scope for real economies is and the real big ticket for spending is the Metropolitan Police and Transport for London. That’s where the real savings, believe me, are to be found.”
Seems clear enough to me.

Really , I do not think that asking for the catastrophic waste orchestrated by Labour for its supporting parasites is the same thing as cutting anything . Crime in London is a disaster and much of the blame goes to the wider left Constituency with their obsession with forms and inability to do anything but throw other peoples money at the problem. Labour have just admitted after ten years that the Conservative plan to cut the stop and search form has been right all this time . They admit that taxes are too high ( by following cuts ) , where is the bit that they/you got right I `d like to know .
The number of people who work for the Council that are actually paid more than MPs is something I notice emerging from the regrettable Conman incident . the escalation in pay levels for the least productive part of the country is eye watering How do you feel about cutting that? Would anyone know , I like the prospective teachers strike .. when will we notice ?
On the Bob is a racist thing, as I previously said you?d think you would stop flinging ad hoc mud which you know full well is not in essence true . Boris Johnson is not a racist, very few people really are and yet on and on it goes .
Incidentally I am blocked from appearing at Labour Home following one , I thought , rather good quip. Typical .
That sounds ominous. Better not tell him that the London Fire Brigade costs a pretty penny too.
Bob – the comment from Boris:
“We have got to be absolutely clear where the scope for real economies is and the real big ticket for spending is the Metropolitan Police and Transport for London. That’s where the real savings, believe me, are to be found.”
has now appeared on Coffee House and Sky and is being ignored or excused. Surprise.
