Nick Clegg has given the order of the boot to Jo Swinson, the youngest Lib Dem MP at only 27 years of age, as the Lib Dem spokesperson on Youth and Equality issues. The new ‘youth’ spokesperson is Lynne Featherstone (aged 56 and three-quarters). This comes hot on the heels of Clegg’s appointment of the rather sad aging hippy Brian Eno (aged 59) as the Leader’s special adviser on youth matters.
Fingers on the pulse there then, eh?
