24 hours is a long time in politics

I like this. GrimmerUpNorth on Monday this week boldly goes where lefties dare not go and declares that Squabbling sectarianism not the answer. It’s not everyone on the left who is prepared to call for unity between the SWP/Respect/People’s Front for the Liberation of Judea and the other assorted sectarian left groups.
Errrm… here is GrimmerUpNorth displaying his her new found commitment to unity on …errrm, Tuesday.

  1. Chris Paul says:

Susan Grim is a Grrrrrl rather than a tribute to the old Boy Named Sue! But definitely a sectarian splitter nonetheless!!

  2. Bob Piper says:

My wrist is quite rightly slapped, Chris…. by the way, are you a Christopher or a Christine?

  3. I would hazard a guess it’s Christine. However, I have been known to be wrong…

Just found this post…belatedly. NO I AM NOT A SECTARIAN SPLITTER.The Cruddas/Trickett post referred specifically to their underwhelming piece in Comment Is Free. IMHO the two Jons have been instrumental in weakening the Labour left…by a) backing Brown and b) continuing to excuse his woeful shift to the Right. As Chris Paul has pointed out, I am a woman….

  5. Bob Piper says:

I’m pleased to be able to acknowledge that Susan, although I also note that your vitriol towards the soft left like ‘the two Jons’ is hardly balanced by your enthusiasm for unity with the splitters.
