If you want a casino we’ve got one to spare…

All of these local authorities fight over the right to have a bloody casino… “because it brings money in to the area.” Of course they do. These casinos are not really owned by Las Vegas cowboys looking to squeeze hard earned cash out of people so that they can stuff it in their own bank accounts. No, in reality they are all off-shoots of Oxfam… large charity organisations bringing in barrel loads of cash for the locals to enjoy.
Well, we’ve got one you can have. Blue Chip Casinos have been trying over three and a half years now to turn a pub in a residential neighbourhood into this abomination!

So… if you want it… come and get it, because we’re digging in for a long siege.

Why did you stop at no new casinos in this area? Why not no new arcades?Although being able to walk in off the street(to a casino) may have done it,arcades must cause more deprivation to Mr and Mrs average and young wipersnapper average!Especially when sited next to a pub.Or am I just depressed after a planning appeal for one of these places?

Margaret…. because the gambling act allows us a specific clause on ‘No Casinos’ which doesn’t extend to arcades, betting shops etc.

Yes shame that Bob. Oh well I suppose the group of lads aged 16 plus who will not be going to uni for a media course have to have something to do all day besides sit in the pub.
