Footie violence

derby9.jpg This photograph appears on the Wolverhampton Express and Star newspaper’s website under the heading… ‘More Football Violence Photos’. Another photograph under the same heading appears to show a group of people clearly heading off in search of trouble.
Now far be it for me to suggest that our friends from the fourth estate may have been tramping the streets of Wolverhampton anxious for a bit of meaningless violence which barely materialised…. but…. can anyone spot any signs of violence, football or otherwise, (other than the copper raising his truncheon for the photo and presumably terrorising some passing OAP) in these two photographs?

The bit that ticks me off is where it says in the article to go with these photos…
“and the reputation of Black Country football had once again been marred by a mindless few.”
The word they missed off the end of that sentence is ‘Dingles’ – any trouble after the game had nothing to do with us. We were in a brilliant mood.

Well the baggies player does appear to be tapping the wolverine on the shoulder-how butch is that?
I do hope that one of the police people was not one that didnt come to court on Monday to give evidence in a trial because he had a virus!
