As one of the rising stars of the Conservative Party, the glamorous libel lawyer Joanne Cash appeared to have everything going for her.
Oxford educated and beautifully groomed, Miss Cash lived up to her billing in Tatler as 'Tory totty' when she attended a party conference wearing a gold necklace bearing the word 'Conservative'.
She also has impeccable connections, having married multimillionaire businessman Octavius Black, who was a contemporary of Mr Cameron at Eton.
Mr Black, 41, is the son of Lady Moorea Hastings, who is a relative of racehorse trainer the Earl of Huntingdon
Miss Cash and her husband even live in Notting Hill, the West London spiritual home of the new-look Conservative Party, only a few hundred yards from the town house of George Osborne, the Shadow Chancellor.
But at the heart of this row is the equally glamorous but redoubtable Mrs Sayers, who is also a barrister. Married to a millionaire banker, she has worked tirelessly for the party for years.
Conspiracy theories are flying thick and fast. Lord Strathclyde, who will be in Mr Cameron's first Cabinet, is a close friend of Mrs Sayers and her husband. He is a regular guest at the political salons Mrs Sayers, a mother of two, holds at their £10million Kensington mansion. By contrast, Miss Cash is rarely invited.
Please tell me he's a comic book villain in his spare time!!!

Actually I think you'll find Mr Black is your common or garden variety ruling class villain, along with his wife and the rest of the self-regarding over-privileged w*nkers in this tragic Daily Heil-fest.
That which is worthy of a comic book is the sight of all these expensively pampered wastes of skin scrabbling for snout-room at the post-general election trough.
Subtlety was always your strong point Ian, get off the fence why don't you?

Sorry Bob, you know how it is: I would hate to think that I caused any offense or upset to the lick-spittle running dogs of international monopoly capitalism.
The privately educated, the parasitic lawyers, the wealthy spouses, the massive houses in desirable postcodes....thank goodness we'd never see people like that in a Labour government!
