I have the pleasure of spending a lot of time in Bromsgrove.
You could put a blue rosette on a pig in that constituency and it would become an MP.
I suppose if she is reselected we will find out, because they will certainly have a greedy swine to choose from. They may well be daft enough in Bromsgrove, although I think even that must be in some doubt, but if she is standing it will be great news for Labour in a number of neighbouring constituencies where it would undoubtedly strike a chord.

The Labour candidate for Salford is Ms. Heather Blears-Oink-Oink MP.

Duffy, that's remarkable. Is she standing against Hazel Blears? Are they related? I've never met anyone called Blears before, and suddenly two of the pop up in Salford as potential MPs. A stunning coincidence.
Wayne, nice to have you back to kick around a bit. I get fed up with bashing old Duffers all the while.
Anyway... I don't mind teaching you because you Tory boys have to learn somehow, and you can't get all of your politics from The Sun.
When I moved into Abbey Ward it was one of the safest Tory seats in Sandwell. Four years later, my wife was the agent as we won the Abbey seat for the first time. Over the next five years we took the other seats too. Mike Whitby, now the Tory Leader of Birmingham City Council, stood here first, but we gave him one hell of a beating and he ran off to Brum with his tail between his legs.
So, your answer is, no, not really. You have to work at it (sorry if that concept offends you). Go on now, scoot off, your mommy's got your tea ready.

Bromsgrove Bob? Ain't that right next door to Redditch? Home (some of the time) to yet another well-known trougher extraordinaire?
Kirkbride/Smith. What's the difference Bob?
A plague on both their houses (wherever they claim them to be this week).

Someone has to support her brother and sister, and she may just have had a postcard from Belize.
Let's see how DC deals with it!
Smith isn't standing at the next election. Kirkbride wasn't, and now errrr is. Great news, I'm sure she'll lose to a former X Factor contestant standing on an anti sleaze ticket.

The photo of Julie Kirkbride which I have seen in the Torygraph is missing the wart on her nose and the pointed hat usually associated with a witch. Hubble, bubble, toil and trouble.

Yea bob, I hear you could put a red rosette on a pig in the Abbey Ward and it would become a councillor.
Can this be true?
