Quite odd for the Empire to score such a huge own goal! They didn't even give the guy a different suit. I'm guessing someone at their ad agency is looking for a new job about now.
Ford's did the same about a decade ago. They removed a Sikh and a number of black workers from a publicity photo of their Dagenham workforce used in advertising - for the Polish market, I believe.

Did they airbrush him out because he's black, or because he's quite old?
