It is not often that I agree with Letters From a Tory, but, sometimes you just have to make an exception to every rule. It isn't just the title of "Why I hate some conservatives" that appeals (I mean, why restrict it to 'some'?), the sentiments are right too.
Still, at least LFaT isn't daft or naive enough to think we have got troops in Afghanistan to give them women's liberation.
The very different reactions by the US administration to
a) a law encouraging men to starve and rape women, passed by a 'US-friendly' government' b) legitimate judicial consideration of the relationship between justice and compassion
speak volumes, I think

I would say in the broad sense of conservative it is Labour Party who are currently the "Keep things the same "Party. On the NHS ,Education , Welfare for example
