Bob Piper has been a Labour Councillor for the Abbey Ward in Sandwell, West Midlands, for 10 years. He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and a follower of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Bob: let's just hope that Gordo's spin-shysters don't talk him into some similar riposte, creating another "down with the kids" farce.

I can see it now: "Oh yes, I've been into The Wires since it was first on Radio 4 in the '80s. That McNaughty eh? A wrong-un but he gets things done! A bit like me really. Did you know they called me Badboy Brown at Edinburgh?"
