I'm not sure I understand your point. Are you complaining that he spends 10 hours a month on something apart from politics? Are you suggesting he should spend longer and use more energy by attending meetings in person rather than by phone? Are you saying he isn't worth £180 an hour? Many lawyers, consultants, IT specialists, etc. are charged at that level or higher.
If someone who could afford it thought your time was worth £180 an hour, would you decline the offer?
Actually, I would probably be suggesting that if he is a Member of Parliament earning 70 grand a year plus expenses (including the rental income from a luxury flat he rents out whilst claiming a second home allowance from the taxpayer for another flat 70 yards away) he should think about devoting his time to that... or buggering off and living on his non-executive earnings.
