Ward in Sandwell, West Midlands, for 10 years. He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and a follower of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The views expressed here are mine in a personal capacity, not those of the Labour Party, Sandwell MBC, Aston Villa or Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Get it! Mine... just mine!

An utterly silly argument from the Grauniad there (whom you were very critical of recently). There are the same sort of homophobes and extremists in the EPP, the party the Tories are already in, and the PES that the Labour party are in.
Perhaps the big message is that those Eastern Europeans, although not just them, aren't particularly liberal? Don't tell the BNP though, they might end up liking them ...
Well, just back from a 6-day break and ready to drool with happiness over the mass suicide of the Labour party and so naturally I turn to my favourite Labour councillor to get some ... well, what exactly? Inside info? Some expert analysis on the only breaking story in the news, or perhaps, a brave and spirited defence of the party (he tells us) he loves? Not a bit of it! All I get is non-stop tittle-tattle about the Tories, or, God help us, Polly Toynbee. And this is all we get from him as his government disintergrates like that French airliner over the Atlantic.
The sign of a good officer, Councillor, is the one who shouts "Come on!" not "Go on!" Time to climb out of the bunker with bayonet fixed, er, assuming you know to which it should be fixed, of course!
Here are some of the wacky people and groups in the PES.
Giulietto Chiesa MEP, a former communist and present 9/11 conspiracist.
The Polish 'Self-Defence of the Republic' party, whose leader has two honourary degrees from 'Interregional Academy of Personnel Management' - an anti-semitic group, which has given similar to David Duke.
Others include a former IRA man, and a Turkish party that they extolled associate membership on - despite that party supporting the PKK.

Isn't this guy the one who said:
"The white race is over due to the election of Barack Obama"?
