Not content with one mention that the organiser of the "Get Julie out" (of Bromsgrove, not prison) campaign is a member of Respect... he's done it again! Not that he would want to try to deflect attention away from Kirkbride, of course. (I wonder what number Bromsgrove is on Respect's list of possible gains at the next general election?) Anyway, one of his commenters has caught him out...
"She and her husband are leading members of Respect. Indeed, her husband is the secretary of Birmingham Respect. Why does no one on Sky or the BBC make any mention of this?"
Political affiliation clearly didn't matter a few days ago when you were defending Warren Clegg. You made no reference to his leading role in Conservative Future and history of Tory activism. He was merely a "constituent" -- much like this pair in Bromsgrove.
Some consistency please, Iain, or you'll leave yourself wide open to charges of hypocrisy and double standards.Noooooo, surely not that?
