There is something extremely unedifying about the current jihad against alan duncan. What with the snide blog posts about the gay married tories in the telegraph, now this curious accusation that duncan was off sunning himself whilst everyone else was back at work, when it transpires that duncan worked upto new years eve so others could spend time with their families (duncan having no kids). Gay tory holidays with arab sheik. A sentence sure to have the blue rinses in the tory party aflame.

Anyone would think Dave has something against Alan Duncan maybe more than his slight about "full time ignorant" or whatever that was. Could it be this is a witchunt against pink tories? maybe to mollify the grassroots in order to facilitate Ken Clarkes return?

For what it's worth, I still accuse Gordon Brown of dithering.
