whilst I have no sympathies with this odious organisation, I find it very disturbing that Kerry McCarthy, a Labour Member of Parliament is openly bragging on her blog that she has seen a copy of this list, and that one of her Bristol colleagues wants to 'start a dialogue with them'.

Whilst bloggers everywhere are laughing at the moment, they are all making it perfectly clear that any links to where this list can be obtained on the internet will be deleted instantly, because they understand the law.

Meanwhile here's McCarthy, someone in a position of authority, openly admitting that she's seen this illegally obtained list, and is about to use said information. Therefore she is clearly in breach of the Data Protection Act 1998.

An open and shut case for the Boys in Blue?

It is amusing to read entries like:

'Happy for his phone no. to be disclosed.'

It's put them back into the limelight again.
