Osborne has shown poor judgement; the Tories
have shown (again)that they have still not adapted to the modern spin-dominated political
environment and that they cannot compete with a thoroughly evil and malevolent ruling party. These points were well known. The real, salient issues here are the following, however:
1. Peston, the government's mouthpiece in the
state propaganda organisation has taken his revenge on the bumbling, amateurish Osborne.
2. The evil, nasty party has engaged the evil, nasty duo - Mandelson and Campbell - for a textbook smokescreen operation. The government
broadcaster and the governments's myriad cheerleaders in assorted media have successfully
taken the eye off last night's Melvyn King speech.
By the way if you hadn't worked it out we are about to enter the worst recession since the war and of the major industrialised countries we
are in the worst shape to deal with it.(OOPS 1.63 big figure on cable and falling...) Solution? Same as the last 11 years: spin, smokescreen, lie, dissemble....anything but actually concentrate on competent government...
Time for tax funding of political parties, that way, no more Respect, BNP. Monster Raving Loonie and the over promoted solicitors, policy wonks, bullingdon boys, local councillors, NVQ lecturers etc can have their snouts in the trough for ever.
Maybe just have one big party and one prime minister.
