Lovely. I’m told that the question, especially coupled with the alleged temerity of the speaker calling him to put it, has pushed many of the mouth-foaming, blog-commenting brigade to the very brink of apoplexy.
Well done Dennis, well done Mr Speaker...

Can't be bothered heckling but why does everyone 'in the media eye' have to try and suck up to the lower orders with the likes of
'...He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club'.
Tell us you're a fan of poetry or Russian literature or Italian art or anything, because we not in the media eye take it for granted that all you lot have been the biggest fan of club x y or z since the second you were conceived

Bloody hell, I'm a star... I've not only been called an MP... I now find I am 'in the media eye'. Sorry I don't know much about Italian art or poetry... but I did read The Brothers Karamazov once.
Sorry but I found his display actually a bit embarrassing - in fact I did wonder (but would never suggest) that maybe good ol' Mr Skinner had had a drink or two too many in preparation for this moment.
OK I know it was just silly party stuff but i was actually concerned about him!

I do not know if Osborune should resign as most politicans are crooked. But it does seem odd that you can get away with it when it is a open and shut case.
The tories admitted they considered a donation.
Serious claims are made by the other people that tories solicited an illegal donation and yet there will not even be an investigation. Why?
Why did Osbounre invite a fundraiser onto the yacht with him. Does he take his fundaraiser with him everywhere. And why did so many idiotic tories get angry at the bbc reporting this. It is a serious story if a politcan wants to break the law.
I do not know Osbourne he might be good guy but it seems odd that this can not even be investigated.
Dennis is your professional Labour and proud of it type MP. Bit like good old Harold, smoked a pipe in public and big cigars when work was done. Well that's how I see Dennis, wearing that same sports jacket when at work, and changing into a nice bit of clobber when the job is done and talkin' a bit posh.
