Bob Piper has been a Labour Councillor for the Abbey
Ward in Sandwell, West Midlands, for 10 years. He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and a follower of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The views expressed here are mine in a personal capacity, not those of the Labour Party, Sandwell MBC, Aston Villa or Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Get it! Mine... just mine!
If you think the Blair's were sleazy, believe me, you ain't seen nothing yet. "David wasn't aware that these photos had been used but appreciates this was a genuine error... Sam is mortified.
Mr Cameron told The Mail on Sunday, in an interview last year, that his wife tries to avoid capitalising on his position to publicise her company, which was granted the first of its four Royal warrants in 1964."
I suspect Sam was mortified... mortified they were found out!
And that article from the Mail also includes a picture of Cameron on holiday. Doesn't look much like Turkey to me - looks more like that photo-opportunity trip to the south west to convince us that Dave feels our economic pain and is tightening his belt accordingly.

Thanks for confirming my dismal view of local authority labour councillors.
So this is the big news story of the day is it?
Read on ... "directors had donated pictures of their children to be used on the company’s website and that it was one of three provided by Mrs Cameron in 2004, a year before her husband became Tory leader."
I would say more about your smears were it not for the fact it would give you an excuse not to publish my comment.
Suffice it to say its good to see a socialist can bring himself to quote the Mail when it suits him.
Trevor, thanks for confirming my dismal view of Tory votes. Just goes to show, eh, there is at least one gullible nitwit!
Errm... who said it was "the big news story of the day"? If you want the news, buy a newspaper. Oh no, I forgot... that's where the story came from... and a Tory paper at that!
As long as you don't resort to filth, Mr H. you can write whatever cobblers you like.
I don't mind quoting the Mail to embarrass the Camerons... I wouldn't buy the bloody rag though.
"directors had donated pictures of their children to be used on the company's website"
Mrs. Cameron should be mortified.
Most of us would want to share that sort of intimate picture only with our family and close friends.
It appears there are no depths too low to sink to when promoting business and husband.
And if Trevor H doesn't care for this story, he might want to muse on two others, (now hard to find on a Tory website) concerning Osborne accepting a fee for a speech, and Cameron accepting a fee for the 'Cameron on Cameron' allegedly against their own party rules.
I ran with the story as well, Bob, and like you I did not believe the pathetic excuses about not wishing to capitalise upon Cameron's position.
(comment moderated) I am aware that he has stated he has not partaken of it since he became a MP. However, it is not that long ago he did a video in India for Webcameron, and I missed what he was saying because I was too busy counting how many times he pinched his nostrils in cocaine-style habit.
jailhouselawyer, that's a truly grubby thing to say. Quite apart from dragging Cameron's kid into it, (comment moderated)...So unless you'd like to libel Samantha Cameron as well as her husband perhaps you'd like to retract?
Tim: Me dragging Cameron's kid into it? I could have sworn that the Camerons did precisely what you are accusing me of. Surely, you mean label? In any event, I don't retract fair comment. There's 15p on my mantle piece if they are prepared to accept an out of court settlement...
John, I have moderated your comment. I think Tim does have a point there given this country's libel laws being so heavily loaded in favour of the wealthy... and I'm not going to allow the grubby buggers to get their hands on my money.
However, I think you are correct John in saying it was the Cameron's who 'dragged their kids' in to this particular bit of limelight.
