Top blogger and VSO-er, Our Man, is now Our Man in Cameroon, and he has arrived, and is starting to settle in to his new location in Bamenda, and enduring an number of ups and downs.
As I write, it’s half-time at St James’ and Hull are leading 1-0. At least you haven’t had to suffer that Steve!

Meanwhile there is revolt against Gordon Brown and not a single lefty blog is following it …
Bob: Brilliant writing from Our Man and his photography is always spot on.
newmania: With all the knife crime on the streets and now 45 Labour MPs trying to knife Brown in the back. Wouldn’t it be a turn up for the books if either Jacqui Smith or Harriet Harman emerged as Labour’s answer to Margaret Thatcher?
P.S. What was the final score Bob?
Agree with newmania, this effort over the last few days has been a tad disappointing as a political blog. We already appear to have a sports section, perhaps a little something for the ladies is needed to make the package complete, they always appreciate a bit about cooking and cleaning I believe.

Yourlast sentence in your comment really deserves to be ignored.
I thought that followers of Political Blogs would at least be living in the 21st Century and not stuck in the old time warp of women appreciating bits about cooking and cleaning.
Heard of Boudicca, Cleopatra, Various Queens, Amazons, Suffragettes, Women politicans, including various women leaders in different countries.
Oh and did you see that it was a woman who has started the latest move against Brown?
Did you skip history at school?

Bob, thanks as ever. At least the football is better here. I’m reckoning there’s no chance of Denis Wise f*cking up Bamenda FC.
