Bob Piper has been a Labour Councillor for the Abbey Ward in Sandwell, West Midlands, for 10 years. He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and a follower of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Funny how nationalisation has now become a capitalist tool. Perhaps the US conservative administration shouldn't have dithered so long and acted decisively like Alistair Darling.

No doubt George W. can expect a lengthy phone call from David Cameron telling him how he is putting taxpayers sorry, hard working families money at stake by nationalising the Fannie and Freddie!
