Media tart Iain Dale is appearing on Radio 5 Live at midnight tonight to defend the right of the old witch of Finchley to have a state burial. The opposing point of view is to be put by a playwright who has co-written what I imagine is a tasteful little piece called Maggie's End.
Dale defends his actions in going on the radio to discuss the funeral of someone who is still alive on the unlikely basis that the BBC would fill the programme with anti-Thatcher people. But just to show how macho the Tunbridge Wells tub of lard is... he tells us the geordie playwright is lucky he is in Newcastle.
Yes, Iain.... or you would do what, precisely? As Clay Davis would say in The Wire... bull sheeeeeeeeeeeeet!
Always going to be reasons for and against for every PM who has ever served. If it's good enough for one it's good enough for all, now that would be silly. So I'm afraid it's got to be a resounding no for Maggie, or any one else for that matter.

Im sure Mrs Thather is quite able to ignore such unpleasantness, but nevertheless,it doesnt alter the point that to refer to her in such an disparaging way is extremely nasty and worthy of contempt.
