The sad sound of excuses crashing aimlessly in the air. David Davis thinks that a 35% turnout would be spectacular.

True. A spectacular failure.

I would not bother to much with Davis he will now be placed back into his old job or another one on the front bench.

But have you noticed a rise in New Labours Ministers, Hutton's done a long how good is new Labour, now Miliband has done a speech on Compass about how great the last eleven years have been and how great the next eleven years will be under Labour, he did not say New Labour once, as they try to reconnect with so called low paid workers, as Brown makes another mistake taxing the poor , not a 10 tax mess up but car taxation.

Harriet has set out her stall, I feel Labour might think Glasgow will be lost and we are heading for a battle over the leadership.

Maybe we should stop using name new labour.
When does new become old.
What about "mature malt labour". Or vintage labour like the finest wines. Then we can exploit our age and wisdom in government as a positive not hide it.:

35% is about average for an election in which all main parties are standing. As Liebour bottled out of the challenge knowing that they would lose and couldn't claim a mandate for their unconstitutional, illiberal legislation and the other main parties didn't stand because they agreed with DD's principles, 35% is an excellent expectation. That means that he expected Liebour voters to turn out to vote for the Conswervative candidate.

At least DD had the balls to call a by-election to get a mandate for his manifesto, not like Bottler Brown. Of course, Bottler wouldn't have been able to get a mandate for most of his manifesto anyway because it only applies to England and he's bottled out holding a referendum on an English Parliament too.

Calm down, wonko, calm down.

Davis' turnout was pathetic, even for a stunt like this. he lost 5,000 Tory voters alone, and that's assuming none of the lib dumbs voted for him.

Do you have another tune, or are you just stuck on the English parliament one? God, it's so boring listening to the same song over and over.

Conswervative... I like that though.

Perfectly calm Bob, thanks for your concern. Yes, I have another tune. In fact, if you look at my tag cloud Federal Europe is the top tag on my blog. I take it you still don't think English people are equal to Scottish people like the rest of your party then Bob?
