A couple of months ago I blogged a reference to a piece by Independent columnist Mark Steel about a trial taking place in Belfast involving a weapons manufacturing plant in Derry. Steel's piece is here. He published it on his own site after the big brave Independent bottled-it on legal advice.
Well today, the trial is over, and the 'Raytheon 9' were acquitted.... and the big brave Independent feels free to herald and publish Steel's article. Slugger O'Toole is less than impressed.
