Light relief   » Permalink  |  TrackBack (0)

Just taking my belated lunch break from the polling station. Steady stream of voting up to lunchtime indicates our turnout will not be significantly down, although rain this evening could impact on that.

One moment of light relief came when I engaged the Tory candidate in light banter for ten minutes or so when he and his driver popped their heads round the door to introduce him to the polling clerks. I heard his shout of exasperation as he left the school.... to find a parking ticket had been stuck on the windscreen of the car driving him around for leaving his car on a double yellow.

It's that sort of a day!

David Nikel - the Phantom. Where on earth have you been, David? To be honest I was getting worried about your health, has everything been OK?
