Bob Piper has been a Labour Councillor for the Abbey
Ward in Sandwell, West Midlands, for nine years. He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and a follower of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
The views expressed here are mine in a personal capacity, not those of the Labour Party, Sandwell MBC, Aston Villa or Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Get it! Mine... just mine!
It has all gone very quiet over at the Birmingham truth seeker' s blog. I don't know why.... because there's quite a bit of political news around in these parts for him to wave his sword of truth at. Of course, not unlike his colleagues Khan and Saeed, Hemming has form in this sort of thing, having been described by the judge in an electoral court as a "dreadful witness" whose "evidence was largely inadmissible hearsay. He possesses an inability to give a straight answer to a straight question". Unlike his colleagues, however, it seems he stopped short of telling downright lies.
Although silent on his own site, Hemming told The Stirrer's chat forum:
It is argued by the judge that there is no evidence of a blow up car. Clearly if we can find evidence of a blown up car (which will be quite easy to do and is being done at the moment) that throws the judgment into question.
There is an appeal process that has been launched.
In reply someone has helpfully found it for him and posted a picture.
