Double trouble for blogger Paul Staines (a.k. Guido Fawkes) as he has been up before M'lud for his second drink driving offence. Not only will the judge be considering a custodial sentence... but Gordon Brown has intervened to freeze his wages.

Justin asks... What’s the libertarian argument for driving whilst uninsured and over the legal limit for alcohol? Same as their argument for everything else, I suppose... I'm alright Jack, stuff everyone else!

Should Mr Staines need any advice about surviving a three-in-a-cell experience, could I recommend a good lawyer.
