Bob Piper has been a Labour Councillor for the Abbey Ward in Sandwell, West Midlands, for nine years. He is a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa Football Club and a follower of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

OK, off to get a bit of sun on my back. The picture is one of the sunrise over the bay in Salema taken from the balcony of the place we are staying in.

No internet connection I'm afraid, but a cafe and a bar with internet access so I'll do a bit of blogging. I'm looking forward to having a chat with Tim about blogging over a couple of Mojitos in my favourite bar. Should be fun.
