Well, I've had an e-mail from Phillipa from Skazz telling me about a Festival from 30th May - 4th June in the lovely West Clare village of Doonbeg, Co Clare. You can see details of the festival at the website here and the good news is that Skazz will be playing on 3 days of the festival. The other good news is that Doonbeg may only be a small village, but it has SEVEN pubs!!!
I'm hoping to go back to the Essaouira Festival in Morocco in late June, but it looks like I'll have to try to squeeze in a bank holiday trip to County Clare too. It's dead cheap to get to Shannon, and accommodation seems relatively inexpensive, so if you're doing nothing, it sounds like a good time to visit the beautiful West coast of Ireland, sup a few beers and listen to some great music too.
