Obsessive Compulsive Disorder   » Permalink  |  TrackBack (0)

When Tom Watson posted a couple of things about Iain Dale in a 24-hour period Iain got all precious and accused Tom of having an obsession about him. I was just wondering... has Iain got an obsession?

There was a time when Iain's site was an entertaining political diary column, but I'm afraid his desperation to get a selection seems to be getting the better of him. Stop worrying lad, they will shoehorn you in somewhere. Go back to doing what you did best because I'm worried about your mental state as things stand now. There's plenty of time for this sort of gibberish in the run up to an election, recycling Central Office material like this to entertain your mongrel visitors will only lead to embarrassment later.

I have to admit there was a time when I found our Iain sort of semi entertaining. But the freshness has long since gone and he's now just s stale old party hack...a shame

I think you'll find that just about every non-Labour blogger has been giving regular updates on the latest Labour scandal. Iain Dale is no different from Guido, Lib Dem Voice, Burning Our Money etc.

To emphasise my point, if you look at Nick Robinson's excellent blog you will notice that EVERY SINGLE POST on his front page (I counted 12) is about Gordon Brown or recent Labour scandals.

Sorry Bob, but you've got it wrong this time.

Nice to see you rush to your master's defence. THe fact that other Tory bloggers are obsessional nerds hardly surprises me... the difference being that Dale used to write an interesting and witty blog. They never did.
