17 years ago today...was it really that long ago. I was in a seminar on pensions at the House of Commons on the day and there was bedlam in the Committee Rooms. Boy, how we laughed. Surely Gordon could declare the 22nd November a new public holiday.

I was at university and Anti-Poll Tax Union meetings always conicided with Tory MP poll results, which made it all very dramatic.
