Andy Howell has a podcast on his site containing a chat between Andy and yours truly about political blogging. It convinces me that whilst Andy has the sort of smooth, rounded tones one would associate with a chap of his breeding... my nasal brummie tones are best kept unrecorded. Still, it was good fun doing it, and I know Andy has ideas for further developing the podcast routine.

On the subject of political blogging, I was due to speak about that at a Conference in London tomorrow on e-democracy... but this dreaded bloody lurgey which has reduced me to a croak for the last week meant I have had to cry off I'm afraid, which is a great pity because I don't often get a day down in the smoke these days. Also, I was looking forward to meeting up again with Paulie who is also on the speakers' list.

I believe that I am alone in liking the Brummie accent above most others.

Get well young man. See you soon.

Heard the podcast. Had an agent on offering you the part of Barry in the remake of 'Auf Wiedersehn Pet'. Interested?
