According to this article in the Daily Telegraph, this is the 51st most influential person on the right of British politics today.

It must be because she goes down well with bankers and their wives. Apparently she has "definite views on issues" and to the delight of Conservative traditionalists she is credited with converting 'Dave' to the 'green agenda' (you can tell by the leopardskin coat I suppose, straight off a sustainable leopard that one) and gay rights.

There's no doubt that by the look of some of the crusty old buggers at their Conference they would greatly appreciate it if the Baronet's daughter would stick her tongue in the lad's ear at night rather than whisper sweet nothings into it.

What is it with Tories and lists? I think it may be that the poor dears can't cope with complexity.

Wanting to list and rank everything in a nice orderly way can't be completely healthy can it? It's like storing your CDs in alphabetical order.

And why do bloggers care where they appear on any of Mr Dale's multitudinous lists?

Questions, questions. I must make a list of my questions....

Pathetic stuff, Bob. Apparently she's a very good speech writer and your comments are demeaning.

Ah, so that is why she is influential. I wonder how many other 'good speechwriters' make the top 100? You see, it was the Daily Telegraph article which said she was influential because she whispered sweet nothings in the boy Dave's ear at nighttime, not me. So, if it's demeaning, tell them!

Nothing wrong with putting CDs in alphabetical order, organised by category, and by year. Books also. Oh, I see, I think I'm going to have a lie down for the rest of the day...
