You don't have to be from Uzbekistan to run off to your solicitors and try to prevent information getting into the public domain. Although in this case it looks as if you don't have to pay your legal costs if you win.... and you don't pay your legal costs if you lose.
Mrs Shepperd, who is now chief executive for Southwark Council in London, was ordered to pay the costs of the failed injunction including Walsall Council's £25,000 legal bill. But a spokesman for Mrs Shepperd said because her legal indemnity remained, Walsall Council would have to pay the bill for her failed injunction.
