A great day out today at the Black Country Living History Museum for the Women's Chainmakers Festival. A sunny day, a chance to catch up with some old comrades, and Billy Bragg and Tony Benn too!
Bring up the bananas from the days gone by, I suppose Tony Benn is living history. I almost asked who is Sylvia Heal? But I Googled her and am now the wiser for it. That woman with the hammer behind Billy Bragg does not appear to appreciate his music, I suggest he wears a tin hat in future. Scrolling down I say to myself 'who's that nice bird with Tony Benn?', Ooooppps, then I read the caption.
Glad you had a nice day out. I've been picking blackberries to make jam.
