The list of bloggers highlighting the behaviour of Usmanov, Schillings and Fasthosts now stands at over 300. Justin points out that some people are apologising for coming late to the party on this one - well don't. As he says, it isn't a race, it is about showing solidarity and standing up to internet bullies who wish to silence free speech, so join the party if you haven't already done so by linking to this post at Chicken Yogurt.

Don't ask me what all those peculiar letters are that appear where an apostrophe should be... I've no idea but it is something which happens from time to time since the server switch.
Those peculiars letters are a sign that something's wrong with the character encoding.
See Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Character_encoding for lots of gory details you never wanted to know about character encoding; it's highly technical and totally confusing even for geeks :-).
Hope that information explains things a bit. If you don't want to publish this comment, that's perfectly fine; no need to clutter the blog with my off-topic geek stuff!
And good luck with the campaign, it seems to be going nicely.
Turns out Fast Hosts, despite being the worst web host in the world on most counts, behaved quite typically in their reaction to the Schillings letter. The linked post includes quotes and links explaining why the Law is siding with Usmanov on this one.
Perhaps as a Labour Councillor on the wrong end of a lawyers letter you would consider exerting some influence to get the Law changed?
The Open Rights Group, or specifically Richard Clayton, would be a good source of further information on this topic
